Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you use Hig, we may collect information you provide directly, including prompts, uploaded images, uploaded videos, reference or inspiration images, generated results, support messages, account information, and purchase-related information.

We may also collect technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, crash logs, usage events, IP address, and general diagnostic information to operate, improve, and secure the app.

2. Photos, Videos, and Face Data

Hig allows users to voluntarily select and upload photos or videos for features such as face swap, image generation, video generation, and video editing. Uploaded media may contain a person’s face. For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “face data” includes photos, videos, and visual information relating to a face contained in media submitted to Hig.

Hig does not use face data to identify or authenticate users, create faceprints, build biometric profiles, determine sensitive characteristics, serve advertising, conduct marketing, or track users. We do not intentionally extract or permanently store facial geometry, facial landmarks, face meshes, or biometric templates.

3. Consent and Collection of Face Data

Face data is collected only when a user voluntarily selects media and chooses to use a feature that requires uploading or processing that media. Before face-containing media is transferred from the device for processing, Hig provides a clear disclosure and requests the user’s consent.

A user may decline or revoke consent by cancelling before processing begins, not uploading additional media, removing Hig’s Photos or Camera permission in iOS Settings, deleting previously submitted content, deleting their account, or contacting us at contact@higvid.com.

4. Intended Uses of Face Data

We use face data only to:

• Perform the face swap, generation, editing, animation, or other creative operation specifically requested by the user.
• Deliver the requested result and display it in the user’s private history when applicable.
• Troubleshoot failed generations, prevent abuse or fraud, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

Face data is not used for advertising, marketing, profiling, identity verification, surveillance, or training general-purpose artificial intelligence models.

5. Face Data Sharing and Third-Party Processing

To provide the requested features, uploaded media may be transmitted to the following service providers:

• Replicate, which provides AI processing infrastructure used to generate or edit content requested by the user.
• Supabase, which provides cloud infrastructure, authentication, database, and storage services used to transmit or store account-linked media and generated results.

These providers process face data only to the limited extent necessary to provide services to Hig and fulfill the user’s requested feature. Hig requires each service provider that receives face data to provide the same or an equal level of privacy and security protection described in this Privacy Policy and required by applicable Apple policies. Service providers may not use face data for advertising, profiling, identification, independent model training, data brokerage, or unrelated purposes.

Hig does not sell, rent, license, or disclose face data to advertisers, advertising networks, analytics providers, data brokers, information resellers, or other unrelated third parties.

6. Face Data Storage and Security

Uploaded media may be securely transmitted to Hig’s systems and authorized service providers for processing. Access is limited to systems and service providers that require access to complete the requested feature, maintain security, or troubleshoot technical problems.

Generated results stored in a user’s account are private and are not made public by Hig. Users may independently choose to download or share their results.

7. Face Data Retention

Input photos and videos containing face data are retained in active storage only for the time reasonably necessary to upload, process, deliver, and troubleshoot the requested result. Hig schedules input media for deletion from its active systems within 24 hours after processing is completed, except when limited additional retention is required to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, failed processing, or comply with law.

Generated results may remain in the user’s private history until the user deletes the result or deletes their account. Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being permanently removed through the normal backup-retention cycle, unless a longer period is legally required.

8. Face Data Deletion

Users may delete individual generated results and associated stored media through the History section of the app. Users may delete all account-related data through the in-app Delete Account option, where available, or by contacting contact@higvid.com.

After a valid deletion request, Hig removes the applicable face data from active systems and sends deletion instructions to relevant service providers when required. Remaining backup copies are removed according to the backup-retention period described above.

9. Revoking Consent

Users may revoke consent for future face-data collection or use at any time by not uploading additional media, cancelling an upload before processing begins, disabling Photos or Camera access in iOS Settings, deleting content from the app, deleting their account, or contacting us.

Revoking consent stops future processing. If processing has already begun or been completed, the user may delete the resulting content and request deletion of associated face data.

10. How We Use Other Information

We use other information to operate Hig, generate requested content, manage accounts, process subscriptions or purchases, provide customer support, improve app performance, detect fraud or abuse, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

11. Purchases and Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription or credits, payment processing is handled by Apple or another authorized payment provider. Hig does not receive your full payment card details. We may receive purchase status, subscription status, transaction identifiers, and related information needed to unlock paid features and provide support.

12. Other Third-Party Services

Hig may use service providers for hosting, crash reporting, payment verification, analytics, and customer support. These providers may process information only as necessary to provide services to Hig and must protect user data with the same or an equal level of protection described in this Privacy Policy.

13. Sharing of Other Information

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose limited information to service providers acting on our behalf, to legal authorities when required by law, to protect users or our services, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. Any recipient must handle the information consistently with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

14. Your Choices and Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting contact@higvid.com. You may also delete content or your account through available in-app controls. Certain information may be retained when required by law, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement obligations.

15. Children’s Privacy

Hig is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information or face data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

16. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls and secure transmission. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

17. International Processing

Your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. When this occurs, we take reasonable steps to protect it in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

18. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify users through the app, website, or another appropriate method. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision.
